What’s in a Name?

I am often asked about the name of our company. What it means? Where the name came from. So…allow me to take a moment and tell you a little bit about the name, “Kingdom Builders”.

Several years ago when my wife and I felt God leading us to change direction and start our own company, we had our fair share of questions and uncertainties. However, in the midst of all of the unknowns, we did know one thing…we knew that the sole purpose, the goal, and the objective of our new company would be to further God’s Kingdom and work for His glory. So, after weeks of thought and prayer, my wife came in one morning from the gym and said that she had what she felt was the perfect name for our new business…”Kingdom Builders”. I loved it! It instantly made a statement that this company was focused on, and was about, something bigger than anything here on earth.

In the course of our day to day business conversations, we are often asked about the name, “Kingdom Builders”. We are always excited to tell others about our faith and the place that it has in our lives and in our work. It is my prayer that the relationships that we build with our customers and with our business partners are indeed building blocks towards a greater purpose and a higher calling. I pray that we are playing our small part in building God’s Kingdom here on earth. God bless! Hugh
